A little history we came up with that helps explain why there are so many unusual and hard to fine Asian pieces.

The six panel 18th Century screen was originally purchased by Ms. Bailar's father, Dr. Gary Troop in Japan.  Dr. Troop served from 1961 through 1963 as a member of the U.S. Atomic Bomb Casualty Committee in Hiroshima, Japan,  Dr. Trrop was documenting the long term radiation exposure of the survivors of the Hiroshima bombing in 1945.  He moved to New Mexico in 1969 where he was a professor of Pathology at the University of New Mexico.  Upon his demise in 2005 the Japanese screen was bequeathed to Ms. Bailar.

After out growing our 2 year old Software and being unable to deliver the features and service we wanted to we built a new site with a wonderful new hosting company that writes and supports their own software right here in the US.

Here are some improvements you will notice;

1. No more delays or connection issues with the Live Video Broadcast Auction.
2. Live Video Broadcast no longer refreshes for each new item for the Auctioneer.
3. Video is hosted separately and works on most devices including Apple now!
4. No more missing top bids on the screen during the Live Broadcast.
5. Simplified Live Auction bidding system so you can get your bids in.
6. Won Items, Current Bids, Watch List, Invoices all on ONE screen now
7. Streamlined payment system with ONE invoice and notification at the end of an Auction.
8. My Auction Addiction can respond to technical issues much faster.
9. My Auction Addiction can make bidder changes on lots more easily.
10. You can set a straight or proxy bid at any time leading up to the Live Broadcast.(instead of just proxy bids)
11. Better photo blow up system for lots.
12. No more server slowdowns.

The new software and site is much simpler to use. But if you have any questions at all feel free to contact us at any time. If you have not been around in awhile, come on back and check us, and stop in for a great, all new Live Video Broadcast Auction!
